Story

Do you remember the Back to School routine every summer? A visit to WHSmiths to stock up on those back to school essentials; all the p's - pencil case, pencils, pencil sharpener, Pritt stick, protractor, pens (scented gel pens (umm chocolate scented!), highlighters, biros, the pen that could eraser itself, fountain pen, handwriting pens).

Then there is the compass, a calculator, a ruler (or 2?), an assortment of shaped rubbers/erasers, Tipex, stapler, stapler remover, hole punch, scissors and the giant pencil case to hold it all in as well as the cute fluffy one you just had to have! Oh and not forgetting the huge rucksack to hold the giant pencil case, the fluffy pencil case and an array of school books.

I am supporting my friend Bani in India and he aims to provide children who would otherwise go without with a 'school kit', a few essentials to help them get to school. The government provide books and notes but the rest is up to children, their families and the community to provide.

Bani aims to help 300 children a year and I am hoping you lovely people would help me crowd fund a few. I hope you can help :)

A school kit costs 1000 rupees which is about £12.50. It includes;

1. School Bag

2. Lunch Box

3. Hand Towel

4. Geometric Box

5. Water Bottle

6. Pen & Pencils

7. Drawing books

8. Note books.
