Story

I met Jessica whilst at my local supermarket one day. She had collapsed on the floor and her 8 year old daughter was trying to help her. She was having an episode where her whole body was shaking and then left wracked with pain.

Jess has a rare condition called Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility Syndrome and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Here are some of Jess’ symptons - Dislocations, subluxions, extreme pain, swelling, seizures, nausea, vomiting, suppressed immune system, infections, incontinence, exhaustion, inflamed joints, breaks and sprains spinal and joint injuries, spasms, shaking, depression, anxiety and insomnia.

Currently there is no cure.

Jess uses a walker but to give her more freedom and the ability to take her 2 young children 8 and 5 to school each day she needs an electric mobility scooter.

My goal is to raise £2000 for Jess and her family by riding 1,000 miles in 24 hours from my home in Dorset to Land’s End and then all the way up to John O Groats in Scotland.

Please help me to help Jess.

Thank you so much.
