I'm facing my fears and abseiling from the roof of AFC Wimbledon's Cherry Red Records Stadium to raise funds for Lockwood Football Academy

Founded in May 2013, The Lockwood Football Academy was created to bring football and physical activity to local community children. We use football as a tool to engage in community activity, increase participation, reduce anti social behaviour and increase community spirit and health.

We are raising money towards a life saving defibrillator. 1/3 of the cost of £1500 will go a long way to give our participants peace of mind.

Working with age groups from 4 to 16 years old we hope to never have to use this defibrillator, however we are aware that even the fittest of people can become sick at any moment, This could save many lives and we want to be able to offer help if that happened in a football session.
