Did you know that honeybees and other pollinating insects are responsible for making a third of the world's food?!
Honeybees are struggling in the wild in Scotland, so we must rely on Scottish Beekeepers and Bee Farmers to keep honeybees in order to sustain our numbers of honeybees.
In Scotland, our honeybees not only bring us delicious honeys, but also help to pollinate things like apples, strawberries, raspberries, bringing a wonderful assortment of colours to our plates!
We are The Scottish Beekeepers' Association, Scotland's leading honeybee charity, and want to raise awareness of honeybees and their plight across Scotland. So we're delighted to say The Good of the Hive project is coming to Scotland in August to create a beautiful honeybee mural in a busy spot, but we need your help to support this initiative please.
All funds raised will go towards things like materials and support, but will ultimately help raise awareness and protecting Scottish honeybees for generations to come.
