Story
The Skyrian horse is estimated to be of only 200 left in the world . To which 40 only 40 breeding mares left to have any chance of avoiding extinction. Here in Scotland we are atempting to maintain a breeding herd of mares in a natural enviroment with a future plan to have a colt imported to rejuvenate the forward future to these amazing yet severely endangered equine .
Please help our cause and help as little or much to enable us to home feed and fund the travelling of a new stallion to continue a breeding line that will stop the extinction of them not just with in Scotland but potentially throughout the world. The money enables us to ensure the safeguarding , security and maintence of the breed and its future existence by hopefully importing a colt/ stallion. This is spread across feed hay housing land and health of our beautiful Skyrians . Please visit us at Sottish Skyros Pony on fb . We are in process of building a website and obtaining charitable status . Please help with whatever you can . And a big thankyou from us all.We will endeavour to reply to everyone who donates and spreads the word about our cause

All my years i have adored horses . However just under a year ago a little Skyrian Horse came into my life and opened up a whole new chapter . Through a chance meeting i was opened up to how endangered this breed is. It has now become a lifelong ambition to save this breed
