Story
On Sunday 5th May myself and Josh Cantle will be organising a football tournament on behalf of our beloved friend Scott 'Phil Ming' James. You may or may not know that Scott was recently diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. His treatment has begun already this week, meaning he will be out of work for the considerable future and may not return full time until September. Due to this we want to raise as much money to make the difficult next 6 months, just that little bit easier for him and his close family.
The tournament will consist of 8 local teams and we would like to invite everyone to participate or come down and watch. We will look into organising refreshments (beers) and a BBQ. We will confirm venue, teams and format in the near future once we have a better idea of numbers. If you are interested in playing, please contact myself or Josh and we will be able to get you into 1 of the 4 teams.
It would be great to see as many of you as possible to either play or watch, to make Scott’s upcoming months as easy as possible!
