Scott Hutchison, singer and frontman of the band Frightened Rabbit left us in May this year. He inspired & helped so many people not only through his lyrics but also through his genuine connection with his fans. Everyone could relate to him and he had time for everyone.

This project is for all those out there who have been touched by Scott’s lyrics and music, his humor and humanity and have been devastated by his passing. 

Our goal is to raise enough to place a memorial bench including a memorial plaque for Scott in one of Glagsow's beautiful parks - free of entry and easy to get to for local and visiting fans. The bench will be a place to remember Scott, to put the headphones on and listen to his music and take a deep breath of fresh air, a place to sit down and have a good catch up with friends and fellow fans, a place to celebrate Scott's life and what he means to all of us. 

Lets carry on making tiny changes to the world.

Scott is known for supporting and championing fellow musicians and advocating mental health charities knowing how important help is for people like us, for people like him. If there is any excess money collected through this fundraiser will be donated in Scott's name and in alignment with his family to charity. 

There is also a Facebook group ‘Scott’s Bench’ for everyone who wants to learn more about the project and take an active part in it, a virtual connection with other fans, meet old and new friends & plan your visit together. There will also be a chance to vote to choose where the bench is placed. Come around - everyone is welcome:
