Story
I'm incredibly proud to have been selected to represent the UK in the 2019 World Scout Jamboree and look forward to meeting Scouts and Guides from all over the world as we gather for this great event in West Virginia, USA. I hope to be able to share with them my experience about life as a Scout in London, England, and learn from them about their culture and Scouting and Guiding experiences. I believe in diversity and inclusivity, and the World Scout Jamboree is a great way to make this happen, as it brings people of different cultures, backgrounds and ethnicity together. It enables us to share our stories with each other, and allows everyone to have the same opportunities on the Jamboree. Each attendee from the UK has to pay £3,900 to be able to attend. Over the course of this next year, to raise this amount to fund my Jamboree trip, I will be doing chores in my neighbourhood, such as lawn mowing, car washing, sweeping leaves and so on, as well as doing charity runs, walks and bike rides. Please come back and look at my Just Giving page from time to time to see what I've been up to, to raise money towards my Jamboree trip. Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
