Swansea City Roller Derby was established in 2010, and since then the team has gone from strength to strength. We are currently ranked 38th in Europe and 14th in the UK and are always training hard to climb the rankings. We want the team to grow and develop, and part of this is challenging ourselves to play highly ranked opponents wherever we can..

The team now has the opportunity to compete in Nantes, which will be the first time we will play outside the UK, representing South West Wales roller derby in Europe.

The cost of travel for the team is huge. We are a small team and entirely self funded. Particularly the cost of insurance is difficult, we need specialist team insurance to cover us for the trip.
