Story

These bags will be used for nurses to take home their contaminated uniforms/scrubs or shoes to wash at the end of the day.

We're raising £350 to fund 100 x 100% cotton, drawstring bags, 100 'Thank you' keyring's (as a little keepsake and token of our appreciation) and 200 dissolvable laundry bags.

The keyring's will have a 'Thank you ' design on one side and on the reverse a small message of appreciation which can be either: WORDS COULD NEVER EXPRESS, HOW TRULY GRATEFUL WE ALL ARE, FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE. Or you can choose to write your own short message (the keyrings are 7cm x 4.5cm so the message will need to be short). When donating please specify whether you'd like your own message :) The keyrings will be handmade.

We're starting by raising the initial £350 for 100 reusable bags, 100 thank you keyring and 200 dissolvable bags and then see where we can go from there.

I have already received requests from the St Francis Hospice and care homes just from my initial post. I am contacting hospitals directly today. Each hospital has different infection control measures, so these will go to where these can be used to help the staff. We hope the little message of Thanks will put a smile of the face of those that receive them, and they'll know how very proud and grateful we are of them, not only during this horrendous time but always.

Please note: Every single penny raised will go towards the cause, I am donating my time and what card and ink stocks I have towards making the keyrings. Please note that justgiving's standard processing costs are 2.9% + 25p which are applied to each donation.
