**UPDATE**
Due to the overwhelming response on our Just Giving and Facebook page we have now supplied Ipswich Hospital with so many pairs of scrubs that their stocks are sufficient for their projected need.
Any funds that we have remaining will be allocated to Ipswich hospital Charities.
GET SEWING FOR OUR NHS HEROES!
Our NHS staff are doing amazing work to support people severely affected during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
There is a shortage in supply for ‘scrubs’ to frontline NHS staff, by providing them with this essential piece of clothing we are enabling them to stay comfortable whilst on duty.
I have set up this fundraising page to help enable people at home to sew sets of scrubs to be given to our local hospital. For those that have the time and the skill to do the sewing, they need materials to work with and this fundraising will help to buy them the necessary kit.
We have calculated that it will cost around £12 to make up one set of scrubs. If you can give anything to help keep our NHS staff safe that would be amazing and really appreciated!

4 years agoWhilst we knew that this day would arrive, the overwhelming response on our Just Giving and Facebook page now means that we have supplied Ipswich Hospital with so many pairs of scrubs that their stocks are sufficient for their projected need. We have many sets in progress and more fabric on it's way. We need to decide how to go forward. 4 years agoGood Morning Everyone, just a quick update. We now have 166 Machinist in our database, we have so far managed to provide 143 of these with material and/or patterns to get them sewing. To date we have purchased 2000m of fabric, 8400m or thread and have 171 completed sets of scrubs either delivered to, or on their way to, Ipswich Hospital. Our admin team have been amazed by how generous people have been and without these funds we would not have been able to do so. We will continue to purchase material and make scrubs as long as well are able to!
