    Story

We are non-profit organization which started with the main objective to sew scrubs for NHS and Health Care workers from the start of the pandemic in April 2020. As the pandemic disruption has been minimized and the demand for scrubs has decreased, we continue to support the NHS with different projects such design and production of lab equipment covers, and support other charities supporting the NHS and overseas causes, all of these using our sewing expertise and skills.

Our activities promote the learning/improvement of sewing skills and improvement of mental health during these difficult times. We use sewing and related activities to focus the energy and attention, increase social interaction, and introduce sense of achievement of everyone involved.

For most of our projects (including scrubs), we use recycled fabric (bed sheet, duvet, pillowcases, clothes, curtains, etc..). During the height of the pandemic, there was a shortage of fabrics used for Scrubs, we were one of the pioneers in the country that thought about using recycled fabric to cope with the demand faced during this period. We continue to use recycle fabric to make scrubs, school dresses for children supporting international causes, fabric cover for hospital/lab equipment, etc. making these items environmentally friendly as it is using less resources and re-purposing what is currently available.

We would like to continue supporting all of these causes and the NHS for the foreseeable future whilst supporting the mental health of our volunteers and community. The funds will be used to remain at our current or any other premises (rent and utilities) for at least another 12-24 months.

We can't meet our goal without the help of people/companies like you/yours. By giving to our project: Sewing to Help / Helping Sew, you will be able to help us remain in our current hub. In appreciation to your anticipated donation, we would like to include you in our website and social media channel as a sponsor for our organization and offer our sewing skills for any requirements you may have.

Thank you in advance for any funding you may be able to provide.

    Kind Regards,

    Gio Gomez
