What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
We are looking at taking around 30 Sea Cadets ranging in ages from 10yrs to 18yrs to an outdoor watersports activity centre.
Our cadets come from various backgrounds, some of our cadets have not been fortunate enough to be able to take part in any such activites due to coming from low income families. We are therefore looking to be able to fund the trip meaning that every cadet who wants to go is able to and doesn't miss out.
This will be the first time some of our cadets will be spending time away from home and taking part in activites they would never normally be able to try out.
