Story
2017 sees the ten year anniversary of the Seagull’s ‘First Flight’ festival.
Although we have come a long way since then, the building itself is in dire need of fixing. We still have many windows that are boarded up and the leaking roof affects all who use the three upstairs studios. So far we have been unsuccessful in getting sufficient funding to fix the building and there is a real danger that another winter with a leaky roof may mean we have to close the studios.
So, we are launching a fundraising campaign to start getting some money in. We have many people that use The Seagull every day of the week and so we are asking you to help us in any way you can.
Whether you come regularly, occasionally, are an individual or a
local business, can give a little or a lot, we need your support.
Our aim to is to raise;
£40,000 In one year
If you can help in any way at all to assist in our goal we will be very grateful.

I hope you manage to raise all you need. The Seagull Theatre was my life for so many years when I was a teenager, so it's nice to be able to give a bit back now.
