I've raised £500 to To aid the repair of the Prayerhouse following a fire and maintain the soulfood service for those in need.

In light of recent events at the Prayerhouse Weymouth over the past week, I have decided to fundraise for the repair of the building and any other interim costs of preventing the discontinuation of soul food.
Soul food is a vital service that provides a hearty meal and a friendly face to those in times of need and distress. Due to a fire and the subsequent immolation of the building/resources, the provision of the service and its quality now stand in jeopardy. Volunteers are steadfast in their philanthropy towards recipients and it is therefore imperative that the service is maintained and improved.
Any donation, regardless of how ostentatious, will be gratefully received and any surplus will be passed to Soulfood for use at their discretion.
On a personal level, my name is Sean Clothier, I am a service user and a local resident. You may know me as an entertainer (Opera) or a drink soaked former trotskyist popinjay with a chequered past. I am in recovery and I see helping others as a way of alleviating myself from the deep malaise in which I have found myself over the past few years.
Rather than hell, fire and brimstone, this could be a blessing in disguise.
Thank you for your generosity.
