Our Mum, Marion Flaherty, sadly passed away suddenly on the 27th January 2018, aged 60 years. She is survived by her Husband Patrick (62), and her Children, Sean (32), Kelly (31) and Emma (24).

Our Mum dedicated her life to helping others. She worked as a Victim Support Counsellor, Counselled Aids Victims, a Rape Crisis Counsellor, Counselled the Blind, a Pregnancy Crisis Counsellor, a Foster Carer, a Care Worker for the elderly, and taught at Hook Infant School, reading to young Children.

In her memory, we would like to donate money to a local family who are going through an immeasurably devastating time. Verity Dorkin, 34 years old was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in December 2017, which has spread to her lymph nodes and spine. She is married to her Husband Ian, and they have a little boy, aged 1 years old.

The money raised will be used to help prolong her life for as long as possible, and provide her young family time to continue creating special memories.

It's a fitting tribute to our Mum, and if she knew, we know, she would do everything should could to help this family. So, in turn, we kindly ask, in honour of our special Mum, you please give generously.
