Story

We are a group of friends who have come together to support a well known and much loved local man who is currently receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer. Sean O’Neill has fought this terrible disease like every other challenge he has faced throughout his life, with a positive, do what it takes, never give in, mindset. But it has been a long and hard road for Sean and his family and there has been disappointing news and many setbacks along the way. To support him and ensure access to new and expensive exploratory treatments, available in England and abroad and not accessible through the NHS, we are asking for your help. As someone routed in his community, and a friend to many, regardless of faith or background, we are asking his community and those in the sporting, farming and building industries to repay the kindness he has shown, by supporting him, in his time of need and donating to this good cause. Any money raised that is not used for this cause will be donated to the following four charities;

Pancreatic Cancer UK, Macmillan Cancer Support (Northern Ireland), Foyle Hospice and Cancer Research UK.
