I am raising funds to support the people of Old Folly community in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, Jamaica – a community that means the world to me. It’s where my family and many of my dearest friends live, and it has recently been devastated by Hurricane Melissa.

The hurricane has left so many without homes, power, and basic necessities. Families have lost everything – from clothing and bedding to food and essential supplies. Seeing the destruction and hearing the stories from loved ones has truly broken my heart, and I feel moved to do something to help.

I’m organising this fundraiser to collect donations that will go directly toward purchasing and sending essential items to those in need, including:

🧼 Toiletries – toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant

🍼 Baby supplies – nappies, wipes, formula

🧦 Clothing – underwear, socks, vests, light clothing

🥫 Non-perishable foods – tinned goods like corned beef, mackerel, sardines, rice, and other staples

💊 Basic medicines and first-aid items

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference to the lives of families trying to recover and rebuild after this tragedy.
