Lewis and I are doing a 170 mile sponsored cycle from Chester to Cardiff in May 2018 for Repatriation Services Trust (REST) charity in Wales. This is in loving memory of a dear friend Tom Bassett who was killed whilst on holiday in Dubai, May 2017.

Despite having travel insurance, Toms family were faced with expensive upfront repatriation costs to bring Tom home. This is why the Bassett family (with the support of Tom's partner and wide circle of friends) are creating REST. The charity will provide support and financial aid to families who tragically lose a loved one abroad. If you ever find yourself in this devastating situation, REST will come to your aid. The charity will provide guidance, support and financial aid to help you bring your loved one(s) home. REST is planning to help families across Wales but we will need your on going support. The charity is in its infancy and needs a big surge of fundraising to get it off the ground so they can start offering services to families.
