Story
Seaton Juniors FC are currently doing some fundraising for the club as we are in desperate need of having a safe and fit for purpose football pitch, to do this we need to develop the field at meadow vale in Seaton (at the moment the field is unsuitable) and this will cost approx. £8000, this will cover the cost of materials such as sand, soils, seeds and machinery etc that is required to complete the development of the field.
Seaton Football Club was established in 1989 and is home to around 240 children therefore we are desperately trying to raise funds so the children have a place they can call their home ground. Turning it into a playing area that will benefit and be safe for all the children will help them feel part of a club, give them an identity and help them develop not only at football but also socially. Being part of a football club helps the children with thing such as discipline, respect, social skills, time management, team bonding, physical activity and more. We feel that it is also valuable towards their education as well as being fun and by having a home ground it will boost team morale.
Currently the coaches have to rent local training centres and rely on the loan of other local teams playing grounds. Seaton Football Club held their first Football tournament last year but this took place at a Football pitch in Maryport. Once the field is in a playable state we will be able to hold events such as this at our home in Seaton.
There are however many other expenses connected with running the club so we are soley relying on our own fundraising events to raise the £8000 for the football pitch.

Thank you in advance and best wishes from everyone at Seaton Football Club
