    Story

Helping to raise money for The Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust coming up to the Anniversary of the Manchester Attack.

“On the 22nd May 2017 Chloe Rutherford 17 and Liam Curry 19, girlfriend and boyfriend, totally in love were murdered in the atrocity of the Manchester bombing at the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena. We as families have set up this Trust to honour our kids through what they loved most and hope to inspire others to follow their dreams and achieve their goals .“

May 23rd -  I woke up to find one of my childhood friends and her boyfriend missing after the Manchester arena terrorist attack, almost 48 hours later we were broke with the devastating news of their death. Chloe Rutherford (17) and Liam Curry (19) were two love birds that nobody could say a bad word about. Their parent’s worlds turned upside down, not long after the loss of Liam’s Dad to terminal cancer and the loss of a best friend for Chloe’s family.  I’m not going to try and explain how difficult this past year has been for everyone, it’s impossible to put into words having to do things you would never in your lifetime ever comprehend.

Thankfully, the parents of both Chloe and Liam have put their grief into an incredible charity. The Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust which was set up to honour their children through what they loved most, Chloe being a budding musician and Liam in his sport. The aim is to be able to inspire others to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. They hope be able to help others for such things as auditions, exams, coaching qualifications, travel expenses to name but a few. Furthermore it wishes to reach their goal of paying a full time teacher to be able to supply the teaching of singing lessons and musical instruments training at subsided costing. Too put so much heart into something after such a lost is just extraordinary.

So this is basically me trying to do my little bit

The charity is supported by so many people, from local companies, Asda, the co-op to people such as little mix, Alan shearer, Chris Coleman the Sunderland manager, Helen Flanagan, stormzy who also follows the foundation on Twitter, Michael and Vaughan Graeme swan who continuously wear the foundations wristband, even Harry Hill on the Queen’s Birthday show this year thanks to little James Basset (14) and Tai Steehouder (12) from our home town in South Shields. The list just goes on, so many people are so happy and willing to support just by the simple wristband it’s just incredible.

If you could donate absolutely anything it would be amazing! Every little helps and will make a difference! Thank you so much for the support!
