Story
Sebbie was born with a rare chromosome anomaly, and early medical advice suggested he would never walk or talk. What no one could have predicted was that Sebbie would discover a remarkable superpower — kindness.
For the past five years, Sebbie has carried out a random act of kindness every single day. His mission has been simple: to make people smile and to help reduce loneliness for individuals with disabilities. His daily efforts have already brought joy to thousands of people across the world.
Through this journey, a difficult truth has become clear.
For many young people with disabilities, the transition into adulthood can be incredibly isolating. When living at home is no longer possible, they are often placed in environments that don’t provide the connection, opportunity or sense of purpose they deserve. This is something that urgently needs to change.
Sebbie’s vision is to create Kindness Villages — safe, inclusive communities where young people with disabilities can live, laugh, work and thrive. Spaces with sensory-friendly outdoor areas, meaningful work opportunities, cafés and garden centres, and environments designed to promote independence, joy and belonging.
There are wonderful facilities designed to support the elderly — but there is a gap for young people at the very beginning of their adult lives. Kindness Villages aim to fill that gap with dignity, creativity and compassion.
Sebbie’s long-term dream is to build a fleet of Kindness Villages across the UK. To begin this journey, the goal of this campaign is to raise £10,000 to fund Phase One — the early research, planning and foundational work required to move the project forward.
Your support will help spark real change and bring Sebbie’s vision one step closer to reality.
