My name's SeB, and as part of a fundraising event with my school, The Bishop of Llandaff Church-in-Wales High School, I'm presenting a live radio show for 36 hours on the school's radio station, BOL Radio.

Most of the money from the event is split between three main charities. ERIC is the Children’s Bowel and Bladder Charity, helping the one in twelve children and young people in the UK who suffer from a bladder or bowel problem. Mind is the mental health charity, providing advice and support to the one in four of us who will experience a mental health problem every year. Stonewall Cymru’s mission is to achieve legal equality and social justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people in Wales, including eradicating homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in schools, because nearly half of LGBT pupils (45 per cent) – including 64 per cent of trans pupils – are bullied for being LGBT in Britain’s schools.

Also, if the project raises over £3500, a one-off donation of £850 will be made to Cardiff Whales Swimming Club, which teaches children and young people with a variety of additional needs to swim. If the project raises over £6000, a one-off donation of £500 will be made to James Cushman Wood, a former student of the Bishop of Llandaff, to support his mission trip to Uganda. If the project raises over £8000, 10% of all funds raised will go to Christian Aid, the school’s charity of the term.
