Hi everyone my name is Sedat Felekoglu. As you all know there has been 2 massive devastating earthquakes 7.7 and 7.5 at different times and locations both in eastern and southern Turkey as well as surrounding area in Syrian border. Thousand’s of people have tragically lost their lives. And thousands left injured with no homes.

The situation is very bad in Syria as Syrian government making difficulties for international communities to bring essential help in to the region where Kurdish families affected by earthquake. I am working my efforts by raising funds for supplying essentials for the families that have been effected by this terrible disaster. My aim is to reach families in the region especially those with children as many as possible. All funds raised from this campaign will be donated to supply Blankets, electric heaters, Winter coats, winter boots, canned food, baby wipes, baby nappies, baby foods, female hygiene products and any other products that needed for the region. I was born and raised in eastern Turkey where the earthquake took struck on Monday. I live here in Belfast North of Ireland for almost 15 years. I have families and strong connections with our community. But watching our families and loved ones going through this disaster is painful. The weather is extremely cold at the moment and we know there are a lot of people whose lives still in danger by trying to reach out to help others. The area hit by earthquake is quite wide and this makes almost impossible for government and authorities to help everyone. We know there are still a lot of people who lives in the villages and not had any help yet. The areas affected by natural disaster are poorest parts of the country where people struggle on normal daily life So please donate anything that you can we would be so grateful for any support. All funds will be taken directly to the region and we will happily share all receipts and money given to other local organisations working on the ground to support the victims.
