I've raised £2500 to create an Outdoor Village at Sefton Hall

We are very excited to let you know about plans which we have for this Summer.
On the paved area within our back garden we will be creating an outdoor village. This will comprise of a shop, church, tea room, pub & garden centre. These will be created out of wooden huts, similar to garden summer houses. In the centre of this we will have a green area, comprising of plants, possibly a small area of grass and seating area. We also plan to have a barbecue area. We are still working out access arrangements from the nursing side of our home.
The total cost of this work will be in the region of £7/8000.
In order for us to create this area we will be starting a fundraising campaign starting with a Sponsored Walk / wheelchair push from The Old Rectory (our sister home) in Exeter to Sefton Hall via the cycle paths. This will be on Saturday 28th April. We will be asking some of our residents and relatives if they wish to take part in this and we will have our minibus as our back-up / safety vehicle so people can join us for as long as they wish.
Our second event will be a Garden Party on Monday 7th May (May day) where we will be entertained by members of the South Devon Rock Choir.
