*WE NEED SOME COMMUNITY HELP*

3 of us have had our vans seized a day before the teknival by the French gendarmerie, They were blocking the gates to a camp site as we arrived stopped us all, and forced a road side swob test on us for no reason atall. and fully searched through our vans.

After being in the cells, and questioned all day.
They said we could have our vans back a week later. (after the teknival). so we waited.
But when we went to collect the vans, The Courts said no we can't have them anymore.
We all now have to go back to court, in September. (to pay fines etc)

The French police now have our vans impounded.
This is costing us €17.50 per day each + recovery costs + release fee. totalling about €2600 each by the time we go back to court. (MONEY RAISED FOR IMPOUND CHARGES)!!!!!

We have the driving ban fine to pay ourselves, France has zero tolerance in place , Evan if it's from days before
(given a 4 month ban)

If you don't feel like you should donate because of our driving ban. (Thats obviously more than 100% fine) .Its just the way the police stopped us getting into the campsite and swob tested for no reason, It was so wrong. Lied to us about our vans from the start.
They had an excuse to seize the vans, leading them to keep our vans for over 4 months. When they said we would just be banned, then get our vans back the following friday. We also found out we should've been offered to pay €1225 as a deposit so we attend court. instead they just took the vans. (no papers given to us) the police were very heavy handed and over the top!
There's alot more to it than the ban, they were in full force to stop UK crews going to the teknival, Smashing windows and tail lights for no reason.

!We need some ideas to raise money!

Putting a fundraiser night on at the black swan or some other venue?
Get some big rigs involved, some banging dj line ups going. A little slice of Frenchtek!
