I've raised £1000 to donate to the Autistic Girls Network

Selby Landscapes in a local design and build landscaping company based in Bath. Run by husband and wife, Sam and Dulcie Selby.
Together, the couple have overcome many challenges, especially in the last couple of years. Dulcie joined the company in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. A few months later, Sam's eldest daughter was diagnosed with autism and the challenges kept on coming.
His eldest daughter was diagnosed at a time when the world was going through uncertainty, this was a tough, challenging and confusing time, and one that would have been near impossible to navigate without the help and support of the Autistic Girls Network with groups that help famillies and raise awareness towards girls with autism. Striving for better recognition and understanding, while providing a safe space to ask questions and get better support.
Since 2020, many lessons have been learnt. Many challenges have been faced in all aspects of life, however the couple have managed to work together to ensure the business goes from strength to strength. In 2021 Sam and Dulcie also finally said I do as they were able to hold the wedding of their dreams in the middle of the pandemic, with Sam's daughters by their side.
Now we are in 2022, the couple has decided to take on a challenge that they can control. Having never run a half marathon before, the couple has begun the rigourous training needed to complete this challenge. And during this time they hope to raise funds towards the cause that supported them in a time of need and continue to support the family to ensure Sam's daughter can navigate her way through life safely with the understanding support from others.
