I've raised £1000 to Help fund repairs to the ground damaged by trespassers. It’ll also fund security equipment to deter and help prosecute if it happens again.

Story

Selby Town Football Club is a non-profit community football club run entirely by volunteers. Three times in recent weeks the club has been broken into, the first time tools were stolen, the second time hanging baskets were ripped from the walls beside the clubhouse, and the third time extensive damage was caused to a seating area.

As a non-league community club, every pound goes into the club and community in order to provide affordable football to a high standard. When these issues occur we are then forced to pay for damages which is money taken directly from the club itself. Therefore we would like to call on your support to help fund the repairs and also security equipment to deter people from doing this again, or to be used in future prosecutions.

My name is Dave Haddock and I am a committee member of Selby Town FC and running this fundraiser on behalf of the club.
