Weʼre raising £5,000 to help buy food supplies for our food-bank to help keep hunger away in our local community.

Don't have time to donate right now?
The foodbank has been running extremely efficiently since October thanks to the kind help of everyone who has volunteered to pack, drive, and donate. We were surprised and very grateful for the amount of support and positive reception we have received since creating this initiative.
The amount of donations has been steady, and funds raised through our JustGiving page have supported us in stocking up on low supplies. Since October, we have supplied those in need with over 200 parcels and are supporting up to 30 families per week, with plans to expand up to 70 families per week in June 2021.
Unfortunately, we have been placed in lockdown again, so have had to limit the number of volunteers. Nonetheless, we have been continuing to run the foodbank as it is essential, especially during these difficult times - unemployment is ever rising, and people are struggling to provide for themselves. Parents are having to choose between feeding their children and keeping the heating going, between warmth and food, between hunger and hypothermia. No one should have to make these decisions.
Unfortunately, we are unable to fully cater to the unprecedented levels of demand and have had to turn people away. And that’s why we need your help more than ever to continue with this work. Without your donations and support, this project will not be able to continue to reach those who really need it.
All of you can play a part in this. Together, we can beat this virus and hunger.
We hope to be able to support the local community for as long as the crisis lasts and beyond.
