Story

Since starting SEN-Bounce I have had the opportunity to speak to lots of parents and children with additional needs and also some local schools about what is on offer in terms of activities and clubs outside of school hours that are specifically aimed at children and young people with SEN. There was a common theme which emerged from these conversations - there just isn't enough! Since starting SEN-Bounce I have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing young people and their parents and have built up sincere and trustworthy relationships with them all. Unfortunately, due to a lack of resources and venues, I have had to turn away so many more young people with additional needs who could benefit from attending my trampoline club. For this reason, I would like to start a fundraiser to raise enough money to be able to to purchase some additional trampolines to loan to school and leisure centres that don't already have any with the objective that SEN-Bounce can run additional sessions to cater for more.

To raise the funds we are proposing a trampoline marathon with a target of 26 hours of consistent jumping completed by a team. The current Guinness world record is 25 hours and 30 minutes so if we reach our goal, we will also be setting a new Guinness world record.
