I've raised £1000 to Send Alfie the great on holiday after 3 1/2 yrs of Leukaemia treatment.

On 10th February 2014 my bests friends life was turned upside down when their beautiful, lively 6 year old boy Alfie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He had not been eating, was tired and pale and then developed a rash and had bone pain - he literally woke up unable to walk!
So, they started the roller coaster of treatment and long hospital stays. Alfie's leukaemia was found to be high risk meaning he had to have the strongest treatment, regimen c. The first 6 months were horrendous, but Alfie endured everything and battled through without complaining and always with a smile on his face.
On the 10th June we celebrated Alfies end of treatment, Alfie has come a long way in the last 3 1/2 years and overcome some very big hurdles, towards the end of treatment Alfie struggled with sad thoughts, it was heart breaking to see such a little worrier hurting so much especially after watching him fight cancer with an iron fist. No child should ever have to endure such hard times.
Aflie and his parents and 4 sisters have had so many ups and downs over the course of Alfies treatment but they have all smiled through it. They are all inspirational and I would love to be able to send Alfie to his dream holiday in Benidorm, He loves the program and wants to visit where it is filmed.
Please support me and my team of walkers in our challenge to walk Kinder Scout. Alfies mum will be in the team of walkers with me. Any amount big or small would be gratefully received.
We will be walking Kinder Scout on the 7th October 2017
