I am part of Cosmic 5 - an Elite Cheerleading team from Casablanca Gym in Loughton. After competing at the BCA Super Classics in May 2018, Cosmic 5 won a qualification bid to represent the UK at the USASF Cheerleading World Championships in Orlando, Florida in May 2019.

My team and I are fundraising to help us get there. It is a great opportunity and we will be very proud to compete on the Worlds stage (a dream of mine since I started cheerleading 11 years ago).

To help fundraise, we have decided to run the distance from London to Florida in the hope that some very nice people will sponsor us. We aim to collectively cover the 4336 miles between 26th November 2018 and 26th February 2019, AND do this alongside our existing training regime normally consisting of 3-10 hours a week. Our Coach is collating all our runs and keeping us on track.

I will be using Strava (app) to log all my miles so if you want to keep tabs on me give me a follow on the app.

The money you donate will help the athletes pay for things such as competition entry and rental of training facilities whilst in America along with other costs.
