I'm going to be volunteering for two months in the Katsikas Refugee Camp in Greece. I'll be working in child-friendly and female-friendly spaces, delivering education, community music and social care to some of the 800 residents of the camp.

The majority of refugee children have lost 2 years worth of their education, and have suffered major trauma both in Syria and during the journey to the Greece. Through education and community music workshops, I will be helping children catch up on their schooling, continue with their personal development, and ultimately, I'll be creating a space where they can just be kids again and have some fun! It would be amazing if you could support me in carrying out this work.

So - I'm crowdfunding for my living expenses whilst in Greece - donations will be spent on accommodation and flight costs, both of which will be kept to an absolute minimum. Further donations will be spent on resources for the community spaces, such as musical instruments and arts and crafts supplies.
