Story
I am running the Great Eastern Half Marathon to help raise money for an inspirational young man who fights daily battles with courage and determination.
Sam Jerred, was diagnosed with degenerative Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) when he was just three years old and confined to a wheelchair by 10.
Duchenne is a degenerative disease which has no cure. With an unknown life expectancy I am determined to help Sam achieve his dreams and make memories with his family. His greatest wish is to see his team Barcelona FC at the Nou Camp.
Please sponsor me to get around the 13 mile course and help our football crazy Sam filfill his dream.
