I am fundraising to participate in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) run by a non-profit Christian, missionary organisation called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). For those who haven't got a clue what that means, it's essentially missionary training/Bible school. It's purpose is to teach students about God, His Word and His purposes for humankind: to "know God and to make Him known".

DTS generally lasts for 5-6 months and consists of a 2–3 month lecture/study phase followed by a 2–3 month evangelistic/service outreach in another location/s. YWAM has over 15,000 full-time volunteers in more than 1,100 ministry locations in over 180 countries and train over 25,000 short-term missions volunteers every year (shout-out Wikipedia, always been there for me).

I will be taking my DTS in Colorado from April-August 2019. I'm aiming to raise the full amount (roughly £9000) myself so have been working two jobs and 50+ hours a week. However, I realise there are some beautiful souls out there who'd like to partner with me in this and I want to offer the platform for you to give if you feel so inclined.
