Story

Mother Teresa once said "if you can't feed a hundred, then just feed one".

Each day millions of children suffer from hunger and malnutrition. Around 66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world. 870 million people in the world do not have enough to eat. Ending world hunger requires holistic solutions. These solutions start with a warm bowl of food. ' Food is the doorway to providing a child with an education, a healthier living environment, clean water an an opportunity for a better life.' (Taken from Convoy of Hope website)

I believe that children are our future and providing them with education is extremely important. However, in the developing world there are still millions of children each day attending classes hungry. If a child is hungry, their brain will not function properly and their attention will simply move from learning to trying to survive the day.

Currently, feedONE, an initiative of Convoy of Hope , feeds children in Tanzania, South Africa, Philippines, Nicaragua, Nepal, Honduras, Kenya, Haiti, Guatemala, Ethiopia, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.

For just $10 (approximately £8) provides a full month of healthy food for one child in need.

On 15 July 2018, I will be taking part in Westminster, London 10km run to raise money to feed children in these developing countries. I believe that if each person donates approximately £8 and spread the message, WE WILL be providing children with healthy food for months and hopefully years. With your help, we are moving one step closer to stopping world hunger.

Please kindly donate, share the page and raise awareness of this cause.

Thank you for any donations, I would like to say thank you on behalf of the children and their families that you will be feeding. Our children's future is in your hands.
