Story

As those of you who know me will know, I am determined never to let an animal down. There are many charities that work tirelessly to care for and rehome as many animals as possible, but unfortunately not all of them make it to a new home and instead end up in the pound or are put down. This is not what we want, every animal deserves a second chance. My second chance overflow centre will create a caring overflow space for these larger organisations such as the RSPCA, who can only house a certain amount of animals. It will also include an education building giving young people the chance to visit on school trips for example. They will be educated on how to care for the animals and given a chance to interact and bond with some of them. Visitors will be taught about the heartbreak involved in abandoning an animal and the important commitment involved in taking on a pet. Families will also be able to visit and choose to adopt the animals just like any normal rescue centre. Why stop at dogs and cats? I won't! Every species of animal that we can house safely shall be welcome, from domestic pets to larger farm animals, marine life, reptiles and even horses that have gone lame but still mean the world to their owners! Maybe even a duck pond for those animals who just want to make a flying visit, we will house them all. Looking forward, when we can expand, I'd hope to add a café and a gift shop for those who want to make a day of visiting the centre. I hope you can all support me in this important venture and one day even come and visit the dream you helped me achieve. Every donation counts & even if the target is not met all of the donations will still go to a good cause! Thank you.
