Weʼve raised £40 to Raise money to buy PPE for the NHS. I have set up a project 'Serving our Superheroes'. We are making some items but also need to buy PPE.

Story
My friend is a nurse at Harefield hospital and has asked me to help out to get our lovely nurses and doctors on the frontline some PPE. I have set up a project 'Serving our Superheroes' and have started making laundry bags for local hospitals Harefield hospital and Hillingdon hospital. I have got some lovely volunteers in the community helping out too. However they are in short supply of PPE and urgently need the following items;
- Surgical gowns
- Visors
- Hazmat suits (forensic coveralls)
- Masks - FFP3 required
Our community our making laundry bags and scrubs but we will need to buy in the masks, visors and other equipment. I have found some suppliers but urgently need some funds to purchase them with. Please give what you can not matter how small, every little helps. Our front line NHS staff are doing all they can to help save lives, lets protect them and help save their lives by keeping them safe.

4 years agoAs I didn’t raise enough money to buy PPE directly to donate. I have donated the money to the Hillingdon hospital trust charity. That way the money can go into a bigger fund to go where it is needed and they can buy any PPE they need. Thank you to everyone who has donated.

4 years agoI set this page up a while ago to purchase PPE for the local hospitals when they were really short of PPE. I didn't raise enough to purchase PPE, specifically masks were needed but unfortunately I only raised 4% of the target, which isn't enough money for masks. I have spoken to a nurse at Hillingdon to see where the money is best spent. The suggestion was that the money is donated to the Hillingdon Hospital Trust Charity, so I will be sending this fund to this charity shortly. If anyone would like to add to the donation amount, please do..
