In March I am hoping to take part in a well known Ski race called Expedition Amundsen. It is a 100km ski touring race to cross the Hardangervidda plateau, in winter conditions, something that Roald Amundsen tried but never succeeded.I will be the youngest British person to try this and hope to set the fastest British time. Since I was very young it has always been a dream to participate in something like this (Inspired by constantly watching Iron Will, a Disney classic). The challenge will be huge, and as well as huge amounts of training and preparation a large monetary commitment is needed, and this is where I appeal for your help. Mainly equipment that can cope with these kinds of conditions, and cost of the race organization itself. Many thanks for your time to read this!
