Story
CNC Police SGT 1116 Matt Austin sadly passed away on Friday 15th May 2020 after being diagnosed with a serious illness in February.
Matt was 39 years old and served with the CNC for almost 10 years. Matt started his policing career at Sellafield then soon after moved to his local station Sizewell to be near his family.
PS Austin was a much loved and well respected officer, friend and colleague to all that knew and served with him. He will be sorely missed.
Above all, Matt was a devout family man and and sadly leaves behind his wife, young son and daughter.
All of Matt’s colleagues would like to raise some money which would be used to help and support his family in these very difficult times. Any donations no matter how small would be gratefully received.
