I've raised £2000 to Staffordshire Regiment Memorial for Tamworth

Sgt Watchman V is the mascot of the Staffordshire Regiment and holds the Freedom of Tamworth.
We have launched a community project to build a life size bronze statue of Sgt Watchman V as a memorial to the Staffordshire Regiment - and to honour all the mascots and handlers that have served the regiment. The statue will be placed in Tamworth castle grounds.
Watchman is a familiar face to many people in Staffordshire and a much loved mascot. Recently crowned the "Westminster Dog of the Year", all Watchman have attracted much public attention and love over the many years of service to the Regiment.
The project was launched at the start of the year and we are very close to our fundraising target of £10,000.
Please help support the project and us raise the last of the funds needed. Help us build a lasting tribute to the Staffordshire Regiment and its many hardworking mascots and handlers.
The project is supported by Staffie Central, Tamworth Borough Council and Community Together CIC.
All funds raised will held by Community Together CIC (a not for profit community interest company) until the project is completed.
The project has received donations from SnowDome, Staffordshire County Council, Pets at Home, Staffie Central, branches of the Staffordshire Regimental Association, Bellway Homes, Taylor Wimpy, Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue, Drayton Manor and many individuals.
