Weʼve raised £330 to Raise money for mental health charity Harmless and beat the stigma surrounding mental illness.
- Nottingham, UK
- Funded on Wednesday, 5th September 2018
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are an NCS team trying our best to raise awareness around mental health and trying to remove the stigma surrounding it. We want the help educate people on mental illness and make it known that mental illness is common, and nothing to be ashamed of! Mental illness does not discriminate and as the biggest killer of under-25s in the UK, we decided we wanted to do something about it.
We are looking for people to contribute a small amount of money to mental health charity "Harmless" through our "bracelet project". One quarter of our bracelets are coloured red to highlight the proportion of our society suffering from mental illness - every donor gets a bracelet. We are also doing a sponsored "lock in" on Tuesday 31st July (locked in an office overnight with no phones or external communication for 12 hours) to highlight the isolation mental illness can cause. Any support is highly appreciated!💕
