Story

Following a horiffic e-scooter accident on the 12th June 2021 on Prestwood Road, Wolverhampton, tragically Shakur Pinnock (or Shak Barsey as he was known to friends) lost his fight for life on Friday 18th June 2021 at 15:48. We would like to help support Shakur's family. His mum Celine, fought so hard to give him time to heal and after a Facebook post from Chante's mum Amanda went viral the whole world prayed together.

No mother should EVER have to lay a child to rest, let alone worry about the costs. If anyone would like to help in any way, please consider donating whatever you can afford.

Chante Hoosang, Shak's soulmate/girlfriend was also seriously injured in the crash, she has a very long road to recovery ahead, she is likely to have to remain in hospital for several weeks after suffering numerous injuries including damage to her spleen, lacerations to her liver, severe concussion, fractured elbow/arm, various deep wounds to her mouth, arms, head and legs along with a complicated fracture to her leg/knee. She has been taken down to theatre for 3 lots of surgery to date, with the possibility of more surgery being required in the future, including some costly dental work. She is going to be unable to work for sometime and will most definitely need many months, possibly years of both physical and emotional therapy. If there are any remaining funds, they will be used to help Chante with her Rehabilitation. Shak was not only her partner of many years, he was also her best friend. She truly has lost her soulmate in this tragic accident.

We would like to thank everybody for all their well wishes and prayers, thank you for reading this, your help is very much appreciated - from Emma Murphy (Chante's Auntie)
