Urgent Appeal: Help Repair Tents for Gaza’s Displaced Families Before Winter

Dear Generous donors

Aslamo alikom

I hope that you are fine

We urgently need your support to address a critical humanitarian crisis in Gaza. With winter fast approaching, approximately 2 million displaced individuals are facing dire conditions, and the situation is worsening by the day.

Currently, Gaza has 543 shelters housing displaced families, but the conditions are severe. Recent assessments reveal that 74% of the 135,000 tents used for shelter have deteriorated significantly. About 100,000 tents are now in desperate need of repair or replacement. (these date according to Government Media Office: in Gaza)

Each tent, crucial for providing shelter to one family, can cost up to £300 to fix.

As the cold weather approaches, the urgency to repair these tents cannot be overstated. Without immediate intervention, these families will be exposed to harsh winter conditions, putting their health and safety at severe risk.
We appeal to your generosity to help us cover the costs of repairing these vital shelters. Your contribution can directly fund the repair of tents, ensuring that families have a safe and warm place to stay during the winter months.

Here’s how you can help:
- **Donate:** Your donation will go directly towards the repair of tents, with each tent costing approximately £300. Any donation can make difference

- **Fundraise:** Consider organizing a fundraising event or campaign to gather additional support.

Share: Please share this campaign with your network to raise awareness and gather support.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in providing essential protection to these vulnerable families.

Thank you for your compassion and support during this critical time.

Jazakom Allah khiran
