I've raised £900 to help AYUP fund youth activities in Alfreton

On 9th April at Langar Airfield, Nottingham, I'm going to jump out of plane to help raise funds for youth activities in Alfreton!
I've never been great with heights, but I do like pushing myself and taking on new challenges - even if it scares the life out of me! So, if I'm going to jump out of an actual plane and tandem skydive back to earth, then there's no better motivation to overcome my fear than by raising money for youth activities in my home town of Alfreton.
Alfreton Youngsters Umbrella Provision (AYUP) are a charitable organisation who fund youth activities in the town. Since Derbyshire County Council stopped funding youth services over 10 years ago, Alfreton has had no youth club. Soley dependent on donations, AYUP provide free activities for teenagers, which include music & art workshops, a sports club, acrobatics, games, self defence, Dungeons & Dragons, as well as just a youth club offering a safe space to hang out.
This is a cause very close to my heart. My daughter Evie would have been a teenager by now, and my son Noah is one of many young people growing up in an area where very few organisations are willing to support them outside of school. AYUP are doing a great job, and need our help to continue this good work.
I've paid for the skydive myself, so every penny you help me raise will go straight to AYUP and the young people of Alfreton. Their Facebook page is:
