Story

After recent government announcements, I know that many of us are outraged and disappointed. I've decided that complaining about it on Facebook is achieving very little so I will be aiming to raise as much money as I can for local food banks by doing what I know (lifting weights) for 24 hours.

I will be lifting 250,000kg over a period of 24 hours to support local people in these hard times. I will be looking to bench press, squat, row and deadlift my way to this target with the help of a few family members and friends to check I am still alive and fed, watered etc!

Regardless of whose fault it is, children do not deserve to go hungry. This is not a normal year and it looks like it is falling on us regular folk to do the business. Please donate if you can.

N.B. Feel free to contact me privately if you would benefit from a food hamper using this money. I will be looking to do this challenge within the first 2 weeks of December (fitting around my strongman competitions) in time to support families through the 2 week Christmas break.
