We have identified hundreds of children who during term time receive free school meals. By working with schools it was noted that a great deal of these children return to school after holiday times having lost weight, we believe it's due to the financial pressures placed upon these families to provide adequate nutrition to the children. This money will be used to provide the equipment food on going costs. It is hoped that we can provide at least 3 hot meals a week to each child. We hope we can expand the project year on year to reach even more children affected by food poverty.
