I only had the pleasure of meeting little Edie once. Which was at the Event we put in with Dancescape Studios at the Town hall. Was about a month after she was diagnosed with DIPG. You definitely didn’t have to know Edie to notice her absolute strength and determination. Especially for someone who was just 6 years old at the time. What I also noticed was that she was part of the most loving family who surrounded her with love and never stopped fighting to get her treatment. In my opinion raising enough money to get Edie over to America for treatment was a massive achievement in itself. Something that not many have managed to do.

I have been speaking with Edies mum Lois over the last 4 days and put an idea I had to her. Which she really liked.

My idea was to create a song in memory of Edie and for her family. A song where her family, friends and supporters can remember her as the warrior Princess she was.

Ive been in contact with Nathan Grisdale who has agreed to sing the song. Nathan is an independent professional singer who appeared on the last recorded X Factor in 2018. Which Lois tells me was watched by Edie ❤️

Nathan has a unique voice and has produced some beautiful songs. Which is why I feel he will be perfect for a tribute song for Edie.

The lyrics have been sent to Nathan who will start working on the production of the song from tomorrow 4/2/2020

The song will be available for all of Edie’s friends, family and supporters to purchase for just £5 and will be finished and ready in time for Edie’s Celebration of life in the coming weeks.

Everyone who purchases the song will have it sent to them via email or wassap when the song is finished in the next couple of weeks. All proceeds will be sent to Edie’s family when the link for the song expires on April 30th

They will then use it to raise awarness for DIPG through Edies Fight or Donate it towards another DIPG charity or a child fighting DIPG
