What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
'We Play Too' is a small charity based in West Sussex alongside 'We Cycle Too' and 'Rainbow's Chest'. They develop projects which provide the opportunity for disabled children to interact with their peers and believes very strongly that all children have the right to inclusion, and that their disability should not restrict their play.
I firmly believe in supporting local projects and this one stood out to me due to having a nephew with Downs Syndrome and him having the right to inclusion. I have entirely self-funded my trek so all money will go direct to the local charity.

1 year agoLast week I went on a training weekend, trekking 17.4 miles (9hours) the first day and 10 miles (6hours) the next. I SURVIVED!! Training is ongoing, as is my denial that the actual trek is drawing near.......
