I've raised £400 to Enactus a charity within Nottingham University. They transform the lives of people in need through social enterprise.

We are taking part in an activity called The Great Escape, which is a challenge where a group of us have to get as far away as possible in the space of 36 hours. The first stage of this activity is to raise £100 for every group member for a charity called Enactus. The group to raise the most amount of money will gain a fast track ticket to London, which will give us a massive head start to get as far away as possible.
This is why we are trying to raise the money...
We are trying to raise as much money as possible to help tranform the lives in need. The way Enactus tranform lives is through social enterprise, which increases the employment rates in certain parts of the world.
One of Enactus‘ project is called SANkofa which aims to improve hygiene and living standards across impoverished communities in Ghana by empowering farmers, women, and children, whilst presenting a direct opportunity encouraging entrepreneurship for locals.
Another way Enactus has helped the community is through CodeX which is a student-run social enterprise aiming to improve the employability of young people with autism by teaching them to code. They deliver a specialised coding education to neuro-diverse young people through a variety of programmes. They hope to inspire their students to help meet the demand for a more diverse workforce in both the technology sector and the wider working world
Any donations would be greatly appreciated
